A fair point. Not all plaintiffs in pentat lawsuits are well-financed, sophisticated companies. Sometimes the plaintiffs are small companies or inventors that are simply trying to protect what’s theirs. To those plaintiffs I say “Good luck–and go get ‘em.” In fact, I represent many plaintiffs who are in that exact position. But unfortuntely, there is also a proliferation of pentat trolls, especially in the tech and telecom industries, that own dubious (at best) pentats, and who threaten innovation for the sake of making a few dollars. Thanks for your comments.Brad
