Some highlights of November’s issue of Managing IP – which I’ve now had time to read through:
- Birth of a rocket-docket – Interview with US Magistrate Stephen Crocker of the US District Court for the Western District in Wisconsin about their title as a patent filing favourite and its impact alongside changes at the court. Marshall, Texas, move over.
- A review of some caselaw changes at the US International Trade Commission for those seeking to bar importation of infringing goods as well as a review of strategies against grey market goods in the US.
- Change is afoot. This issue contains a review of moves to update Locarno and a call to review everyone’s favourite heroine, PHOSITA.
- Geographical Indications get a run through with a tour of the basics on eight jurisdictions.
